You are to ensure you open two tabs on Chrome then launch the split-screen view by long pressing on the recent key. Click on three-dot menu button on Chrome and select Move to other window and that's all.

Automatically Unlock your phone: Android has a feature that allow your phone to unlock automatically called "Smart Lock" for a very long time ago but not that popular or what people usually talked about. You can always set your phone to unlock automatically when you're at a location you specified be it home, office or any other specific places. You can as well set it to unlock when you connect to another device such as another phone, smartwatch or your car's sound system. Smart Lock cane be found in Settings > Security & Lockscreen.
